Four steps, all inside your browser. Nothing to sign up for.

Download and unzip
Press the button, then unzip the file. You end up with a folder holding manifest.json.

Open the extensions page
Paste chrome://extensions into the address bar, then turn on Developer mode in the top right.

Load the folder
Click Load unpacked and choose the folder you just unzipped. Fundlens appears in the list.

Pin it to the toolbar
Click the puzzle piece next to the address bar and pin Fundlens so it stays one click away.

The extensions page cannot be opened from a link, so copy this into your browser instead: chrome://extensions

One click on any site: Open it while you are on a website and it reads that domain, then shows valuation, total raised, latest round and revenue run rate.
Type fl in the address bar: Type fl, press space, then any domain. The full report opens in a new tab without leaving the keyboard.
Right-click anything: Right-click a page or a link and choose Look up this site on Fundlens to jump straight to the company behind it.

Why Chrome asks for Developer mode: This is your own copy rather than a Chrome Web Store listing, so Chrome loads it from the folder on your computer. Keep that folder somewhere permanent, because Chrome reads it every time it starts.
What it sends: Only the domain of the tab you are looking at, and only in the moment you open it. No browsing history, no page contents, no account.
Getting a newer version: Come back here, download again, replace the folder, then press the refresh arrow on the Fundlens card in the extensions page.
